Into the Sunshine - SOLD
This was a commissioned painting for a gentleman who was being honoured at the local Curling Club. He is a horse breeder with an incredibly beautiful barn so it was an honour to have been chosen to do this piece for him. I went to the reception and he absolutely loved it and I loved the big hugs I received!
Eggs and Legs
I wanted to paint some eggs and the folds of the cloth started evolving on their own and I just worked them up more. Then came the eggs and I decided to have fun with them, hence the colours.

Swans are such majestic birds and so graceful and just plain beautiful. I actually made a pottery Swan soap dish back in 1976! I think I have always loved them.
Arbor Fireplace

Bargue Drawing Mr. Agrippa
This is a study of the Bargue drawings and in particular "Mr. Agrippa". I really loved this journey because it involved slow small strokes with the pencil to create what you see before you. It was hours and hours of a labour of love!

Miss Piggy
I woke up with Miss Piggy in my subconscious so I had to paint her which then led to a whole show at our local gallery called "Connected". We are all connected and although nature can survive quite nicely without us we cannot survive without nature.
P.S. painting that I tweaked
A fellow artist who is quite into abstract had trouble replicating a friend's dog and he asked me to tweak his painting. The pooch is in the center of the canvas!
Panther
The eyes are the windows to the soul.... I painted "Panther" as part of the Connected show because they rule their own ecosystem and without them many species would not survive.
Rocking Horse
I painted a child's rocking horse for a "chair" project. It is whimsical and different all the way around.
